Honorary Auditors

About the Honorary Auditors

The Honorary Auditors (HAs) act as the Trustees’ and Council’s “critical friend”. Elected from within the ESFA’s membership (but by definition, from outside of Council), the HAs both monitor the work of the Council and Trustees, providing a line of accountability back to membership, and act as required in an advisory capacity to enhance the Association’s decision making.

HAs conduct an annual visit during which they review governance and leadership actions on behalf of the ESFA’s members, but spend as much time throughout the year providing respected opinion and perspective on both process, plans and strategy.
