We have been photographing grassroots football for almost 10 years now having taken my love of watching football and creating a business that captures moments that would ordinarily be lost visually.
So many levels of sport in general are no longer covered by local and national media and I wanted to create a business that offers schools, junior and senior clubs the chance to have their events captured professionally.
Having played sports, predominantly football, from primary school age right through to my mid 30’s it was only apparent that, whilst sitting for a knee operation, I thought how great it would have been to have something to look back on when my playing days were over.
And so the idea was born and the business idea was born!
Schools football is something I strongly believe in, the benefits of sports within school cannot be under estimated and I still remember the sense of pride in seeing my name on the team list on the PE department notice board as a young adult as well as still seeing some of my former team mates and enjoying the tales of our golden years!
We are proud to have been working with the English Schools Football Association as their official photographer since the 2014-2015 season and we believe the coverage we give to all events has improved year on year and we aim to continue this work which helps to promote the great work around the country done by so many players, staff and parents.
In addition we love to see the development of players we have photographed during their formative years, players now playing in the Premier League, Football League and Non-League football have all been the focus of our cameras over the years and we continue to watch their progress with a keen interest in seeing where their journey takes them.
As well as being the ESFA photography partner we continue to work with Birmingham School Sports Federation as well as the Buckinghamshire Schools FA to offer coverage to their regional finals which enhances their coverage locally and underpins the importance of school sports.
In short we love schools football and take great pride in producing images that we know parents, schools and players will love now and for many years to come from first round matches in September to the glory of lifting the trophy in May and are honoured to have met so many people with a similar love along the way.
Feel free to drop us an email or contact us on Twitter if you want to know more about having your school or district featured in our early round coverage – sunshine, rain or snow we could be there!
