The ESFA’s Reward & Recognition Campaign for Schools’ Football Volunteers across England

About:
The English Schools’ Football Association (ESFA) is delighted to launch its new Reward and Recognition Awards scheme for the 2022/23 Schools’ Football Season. This new campaign will see the Association, as the National Governing Body for Schools’ Football, reach out to and reward the army of volunteers that continue to dedicate their time, providing opportunities for school pupils across England to participate in local schools’ football activity.
R&R Awards 2023
The ESFA is delighted to be launching its first ever Reward & Recognition Awards for the 22/23 season. There are seven awards up for grabs, 4 dedicated to work carried out within ESFA District & County Associations and 3 dedicated to the achievements of teachers and players within schools.

School Awards
Almost 300 nominations were received within the Schools’ categories and we have managed to whittle these down to just a few. The vote for the “Teacher dedication to schools’ football” award is now open via the link below, until Monday 8th May. The other two schools’ categories will be voted on slightly later, in order to tie the celebrations in with our PlayStation Schools’ Cup Finals at the end of May.
And the winner is…
All nominees have been invited to the ESFA National Finals at Stoke City FC on Saturday 13 May, to enjoy some football and celebrate their achievements with other volunteers. As soon as the votes close, the ESFA will announce the winners via their social media channels and continue to share the fantastic success stories of our volunteers over the coming weeks!
Reward & Recognition
It is the ESFA’s aim to recognise and reward volunteers in a new way. The ongoing growth and success of Schools’ Football is down to the dedication and hard work of an army of volunteers across England. We hope that this inaugural R&R Awards scheme will celebrate those who are already doing so much and also inspire others to get involved in their own area.
