Teacher Feedback
We have had some amazing feedback from teachers from across England on the benefits of receiving these goodies and entering our competitions ā here are some of our favourites:
āAlthough we didnāt win, our children have absolutely loved taking part. The packs have gone down a storm and Iām constantly getting children coming up to me to show me which players theyāve got.ā
āThe packs have gone down very well in school. We had a few spares left over from the ones originally sent, which have made a fantastic motivational tool and prizes for outstanding work.ā
āThank you for organising this competition. Our sports-mad Y6 children really enjoyed the opportunity to design a trophy and challenge each other with the packs.ā
āA really popular competition, thank you so much for organising it!ā
What we’ve done before…
The first classroom challenge required primary school children to design a Panini sticker book album cover for the 2018 world cup alongside a world cup song and a match report of the children’s favourite historical world cup match. The following year the challenge involved designing a football shirt and was situated around Panini’s road to Euro’s 2020 campaign. 2021’s challenge was to ‘Design a Football competition’ which ran throughout April and May 2021, saw over 8,000 entries from hundreds of schools across England. Linara from Fossdene Primary School was the winner of the challenge with her amazing design below:

January 2022 saw us launch the “Design a Football Boot” Classroom challenge which saw over 10,000 entries, the highest number of entries received for a classroom challenge to date! The winner was Oliver from St Gilberts RC Primary School in Manchester- check out his amazing football boot design below and some pictures from his Panini school presentation.

Nick Clark, Special Projects Editor for Panini UK, said: āWe were so impressed to see over 10,000 entries from schools participating in the Classroom Challenge competition to design a football boot. The level of detail and creativity of the submissions was outstanding ā a big well done to all those children who sent in their amazing creations. Congratulations to our winner, Oliver from St Gilbertās RC Primary School, for creating such a clever, well thought-out design. We look forward to presenting both Oliver and the school with their prizes soon.ā
