In partnership with the ESFA
The world-famous producers of sticker books and collectables has teamed up with the ESFA to provide teaching resources and opportunities to schools in England
The Panini Group was established over 50 years ago in Modena, Italy and with its subsidiaries throughout Europe, Latin America and North America, is the world brand leader in published collectables. With the educational reach of football being so varied and accessible, bringing Panini’s outstanding array of football stats, facts and figures into English schools, allows teachers and pupils alike to view the sport in a different and more varied way.
ESFA Panini Classroom Challenge
The Classroom Challenge, Panini and the ESFA’s pilot campaign, ran from March to May 2018 and featured a variety of competitions for both primary and secondary school pupils to get involved in. Based, of course, around the 2018 FIFA World Cup Russia™, schools that signed up to the initiative received access to a whole host of Panini teaching resources which provided useful information for competition entries and lessons based around the worldwide sporting event.
Schools were given the opportunity to win prizes worth over £1,000 to put towards sports equipment and pupils also had the chance to bag themselves some Panini football prizes!
Over 1,000 schools registered to be involved in the activities and benefitted directly from the resources supplied by Panini.
More to come…
This year, the ESFA will be supporting Panini by giving primary schools the opportunity to get involved with Super Skills in conjunction with FIFA 365 trading cards. More information on this new initiative will be circulated over the coming weeks.
“Panini, a brand synonymous with football, is incredibly excited to be working with the EFSA on these exciting projects. We have no doubt that all activity created will be an enriching and educational experience for all of the pupils involved”
