In partnership with the ESFA
The world-famous producers of sticker books and collectables has teamed up with the ESFA to provide teaching resources and opportunities to schools in England
The Panini Group was established over 50 years ago in Modena, Italy and with its subsidiaries throughout Europe, Latin America and North America, is the world brand leader in published collectables. With the educational reach of football being so varied and accessible, bringing Panini’s outstanding array of football stats, facts and figures into English schools, allows teachers and pupils alike to view the sport in a different and more varied way.
Classroom Challenge 2020
As part of our ongoing partnership, we are delighted to be able to provide primary schools across England the chance to celebrate Panini by taking part in the official classroom challenge that has been running since 2017.
The 2020 Classroom Challenge
Celebrating Panini becoming the providers of the Official Premier League stickers for the 2019/20 season, the ESFA has once again teamed up with the collectible giants and created another Classroom Challenge for primary schools across England.
The competition, which closes on Friday 7 February (the last day of Schools’ Football Week), invites primary school children to design their own mascot – whether for a school team, a club they attend, or just for something within their own imaginations, we are already looking forward to receiving entries.
Entries will only be accepted electronically and should be sent to email@example.com by 5pm on Friday 7 February 2020.
Prizes are in store
The entries will be shortlisted and winning design chosen following the competition closing date. The pupil who’s design is chosen will win a £50 Amazon voucher, a football shirt of their choice and a school assembly from Panini – the school that they attend will also win a cheque for £2,000 cash to spend as they see fit – a wonderful opportunity for one lucky primary school in England!
What we’ve done before…
The first classroom challenge required primary school children to design a Panini sticker book album cover for the 2018 world cup alongside a world cup song and a match report of the children’s favorite historical world cup match. The following year the challenge involved designing a football shirt and was situated around Panini’s road to Euro’s 2020 campaign. The most recent classroom challenge involved designing a crest of the children’s choice. We received some amazing entries including that of the winner, Nia from Brunswick Primary school seen below.
Good luck to all the schools that enter – we can’t wait to see your entries!
