In support of Schools’ Football Week, PlayStation F.C. Schools’ Cup will be bringing you a variety of activities for teachers and their pupils to get involved in. 

Next Level Challenges

PlayStation F.C. Schools’ Cup have set two Next Level Challenges for schools to take part in during the week, with some PlayStation goodies up for grabs! 

The two challenges are: 

  1.  The best top bins – giving the keeper no chance of saving the shot

  2.  The best goal celebrations – from dabs to dances, knee slides to acrobatics

To take part, all they need is a video of your team completing the Next Level Challenges during your football sessions and/ or games.Here are some shooting tips:

  • Shoot in portrait 
  • Camera phone is fine (set to 4k is ideal)
  • Shoot from behind the player for Best Top Bins video  
  • Shoot in front of the player/s for Best Celebration video 
  • Shoot individuals or the whole team 

Videos must be sent by a teacher via email to playstationschools@eartotheground.org by 4th June 2021 to be considered. 

Q&A with Georgia Stanway

PlayStation F.C. Schools’ Cup ambassador and England star, Georgia Stanway, will be hosting a Q&A on the @PSSchoolsCup Instagram page and would love to answer questions from pupils about all things football. 

Please send the questions to playstationschools@eartotheground.org by 21st May 2021 and make sure you keep an eye out on Instagram for the full Q&A during Schools’ Football Week. 

Tell us what school football means to you 

PlayStation wants to know what school football means to teachers and pupils. Whether you’ve made new friends, inspired next level talent or football is just a huge passion of yours – PlayStation wants to hear from you

To get involved, all that is needed is a video of teachers and/or pupils answering the question ‘What does school football mean to you?’. Here are some shooting tips:

  • Shoot in portrait 
  • Camera phone is fine (set to 4k is ideal)
  • Shoot from the front, including shoulders and head 
  • Shoot individuals or small groups (up to 3)
  • Each answer to be no longer that 20 seconds 

Videos must be submitted by a teacher via email to playstationschools@eartotheground.org by 4th June 2021.
