ESFA PlayStation Schools’ Cup National Finals 2023

The ESFA is delighted to announce the dates and venue for the 2022/23 PlayStation Schools’ Cup National Finals as the PSSC celebrates it’s 10th anniversary

The PlayStation Schools’ Cup National Finals festival is returning for 2023 and will see 20 Under 12 – Under 15 National Schools’ Cup Champions crowned at West Bromwich Albion’s, The Hawthorns stadium!

The PlayStation Schools’ Cup celebrates it’s 10 year anniversary this season and what better way to celebrate than a return to West Bromwich Albion in May, to see who will be crowned National Champions.

This will be the third time West Bromwich Albion has hosted the PlayStation Schools’ Cup Finals and this year, the event will take place from Monday 22nd – Thursday 25th May, with five finals per day kicking off at:

  • 9.30am
  • 11.30am
  • 13.30pm
  • 15.30pm
  • 17.30pm

West Bromwich Albion provides a fantastic venue to host 40 teams, taking part in 20 finals and by combining the use of the WBA Academy Dome as well as the main stadium, it provides every team with a fantastic match-day experience from warm up to their post-match meal.

A number of PlayStation Schools’ Cup finalists have already been confirmed, with the remainder of competitions reaching the quarter and semi final stage. With the lure of a National Final on the horizon, the ESFA wishes all the schools involved the very best of luck.

Back in February, The Hawthorns hosted the ESFA’s live Schools’ Cup draws as part of Schools’ Football Week 2023, providing a preview of what this year’s finalists can expect from the PlayStation Schools’ Cup Finals in May.

Plenty more news will be forthcoming on this incredible set of National Finals, including the full fixture list and other PlayStation Schools’ Cup activities – but for now, the 22nd – 25th May is a date for the diary.

Keep an eye on the ESFA’s website and social media channels for further updates and both the ESFA and the PlayStation Schools’ Cup team hope to see you at the Hawthorns in May!
