The English Schools’ FA have received some fantastic Schools’ Football Week 2023 feedback from across the country. The ESFA were delighted with the amount of children taking part in activity and enjoying the benefits that playing football at school brings. However, they would love to hear from the most important people involved, the pupils taking part!
The ESFA’s player engagement campaign is aimed at celebrating the benefits of schools’ football through peers encouraging each other to get involved. As part of the ESFA’s ongoing mission, to seek feedback from players who take part in ESFA activity or schools’ football in general, they would like to invite your players to answer the following questions:
- What did you enjoy most about participating in football activities for Schools’ Football Week 2023?
- Were you excited to take part in Schools’ Football Week 2023 and what were you most looking forward to during the week?
- Has taking part in Schools’ Football Week 2023 encouraged you to take part in more Schools’ Football activity? If so, why?
The ESFA would like you to submit videos of your pupils answering the above questions, using the advice provided in the video submission guide downloadable below. They will then choose the best three video submissions which will feature on the ESFA website and social media channels. The students who feature in these three videos will receive a receive a £25 Amazon gift card for their achievement and the winning schools will also receive £100 worth of football essentials to help further support schools’ football in your school. Students should base their answers off the 15 benefits of schools’ football, available to download below and think about which benefits affected them when taking part in Schools’ Football Week 2023.
Entries must be submitted by 5pm on Friday 17th March.
