The hummel Centenary Shield draws to a dramatic conclusion this Friday with both England and Wales on 9 points from 3 games, the winner will take home the trophy.
The ESFA is delighted to be hosting an England U18 Schoolboys international at Hednesford Town FC for the first time and, with so much on the line for the young England players, they will need all the support possible to push them over the line. The England U18 Schoolboys travelled to Athlone Town AFC in the Republic of Ireland on Friday 24th of March to kick off their Centenary Shield campaign. Following their two away wins, England hosted Northern Ireland at Billericay Town in front of a 2000+ home crowd, securing a 1-0 win to claim 9 points from 9. Read the full match report from England v Northern Ireland here.
Wales have also won all three games so far, a 4-3 win away to the Republic of Ireland, a 3-1 win at home to Northern Ireland and another 3-1 win at home to Scotland.
