The English Schools’ FA and STATSports continue their partnership for the second season

The ESFA is delighted to announce the continuation of their partnership with STATSports for the 2022/23 season as the Association’s “Official GPS Partner”. To celebrate the partnership, STATSports are running a giveaway competition that all schools can enter for a chance to win an Apex GPS Performance Tracking system.

Last season’s England U18 Schoolboys’ Manager, Richy Alderson, said: “As the Manager of England U18 Schoolboys, I believe that sports science has a massive impact on performance at any level, not just international or professional level.”ĀÆThe GPS trackers, kindly donated by Statsport for the 21/22 international campaign, allowed the management team and players to monitor fitness levels. We could identify after the friendly games and training the level that each individual player was working at, in terms of cardio-vascular fitness, speed endurance and also monitoring positional play by using heat maps”.”ĀÆ
