England V Wales opening Centenary Shield match to be streamed live from 6:45pm via ESFA TV on YouTube…
The England U18 Schoolboys will take part in the opening match of this season’s Centenary Shield competition when they face Wales (Welsh Schools’ FA) in the first competitive match of the season at Slough Town FC this Friday 8 March (7pm KO). The match will be preceded by a Primary School football festival, sponsored by the Professional Footballers Association and featuring 10 schools from the Berkshire area.
The England squad in their official kit, courtesy of Pendle Sports will head to Slough on Friday (8 March) to compete in their first competitive match of the season. The squad has enjoyed some success with their friendly matches so far, beating School Sport Australia 1-0, followed by two further matches against the ESFA’s HE foundation partner, University Campus of Football Business (UCFB) students, where England secured both a win and a draw.
Spectators are invited to come along to Slough Town FC this Friday to support this season’s squad as they embark on their Centenary Shield run:

As per previous seasons, the ESFA are delighted to announce that both home matches (8 March and 5 April) will be streamed live, online and for free via the ESFA’s YouTube Channel, ESFA TV. You can tune in from 6:45pm on Friday for live coverage of the match with full commentary.
