England U15 Schoolgirls- International football is back!

The England U15 Schoolgirls travel to Wales this weekend for the much anticipated return to football for our International sides. They will face their Welsh counterparts in a friendly on Sunday 9th May

Before the football world ground to a halt last year, the England U15 Schoolgirls travelled to ROI to compete in the John Read Trophy against their Irish counterparts. They came away with a 2-1 win in what turned out to be their last fixture of the 19/20 season. The girls were then due to host Scotland, ROI, Northern Ireland and Wales at Lilleshall NSC in April for the Bob Docherty Tournament to end their international season, however these fixtures were unfortunately cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Following this anti-climatic end to the 2019/2020 International season for our England U15 Schoolgirls, they are finally getting back on the pitch this weekend as they travel to Colliers Park, Wrexham to play their welsh counterparts. The game is being played on Sunday 9th May with the match kicking off at 14:30.

Unfortunately due to the ongoing Covid-19 restrictions, no spectators will be able to attend. The game is also not going to be live-streamed on the ESFA Youtube channel but a recording of the match will be made available at a later date.

Keep an eye on the ESFA’s social channels (@SchoolsFootball on instagram and Twitter and www.youtube.com/esfatv) for more content around the England U15 Schoolgirls and announcements regarding the England U18 schoolboys upcoming fixtures!
