Further to recent correspondence with regard to the Covid-19 virus, the ESFA continues to follow government and FA advice. Please therefore note that all schools’ football organized by the national body and its member Associations is to be postponed for the foreseeable future.
Schools are advised to follow the latest advice from the DfE with regard to their activities. The ESFA will continue to monitor the national advice and the guidance from The FA, and updates will be communicated via website and social media.
Thank you for your ongoing support and co-operation.
Save the date: The ESFA announce the return of national Schools’ Football Week for Monday 3 – Friday 7 February 2020
The English Schools’ FA are delighted to announce the return of Schools’ Football Week for the third year but with a fresh new re-brand and a more focused approach on truly promoting, understanding and sharing the incredible world of Schools’ Football.
Schools’ Football Week is a campaign not only to highlight the huge scale of Schools’ Football in England, but also an opportunity for schools across the country to showcase the talent, dedication and benefits of schools’ football, using their own experiences. The ESFA want to use this opportunity to promote how important Schools’ Football is for children in England as well as all the related benefits of taking part in this type of physical activity.
Much more information will be coming soon regarding activities and events that will be hosted throughout Schools’ Football Week, some of which is in conjunction with our fantastic sponsors and partners, but in the meantime – save the date – and look out for how you can use the opportunity to promote the wonderful activity that takes place where you are!
You can download our Schools’ Football Week guidehere– if you haven’t already received a copy by email, then please contact Sarah Kearney directly to be added to our mailing list for all future notifications.
