ESFA Announce Utilita as new Principal Partner

The English Schools’ Football Association (ESFA) is delighted to announce Utilita, the smart energy experts, as a new Principal Partner to the Association and sponsors of the ESFA’s YouTube channel, ESFA TV.

Utilita, who are about to officially launch a brand new #EnergyHigh5 campaign, encouraging the nation to make five simple adjustments to their energy habits at home in order to make a big saving on wasted energy as well as their bills, have partnered with the ESFA to support the activity undertaken by their two England squads for the next three years.

Thanks to the new partnership, the ESFA will be able to heighten their coverage of their international activity for the England U15 Schoolgirl and England U18 Schoolboy squads, from January 2020 as the International season gets underway. As the new Official Energy Partner of the Association, Utilita will initially support the activity provided for the two squads and are also the official front of shirt sponsors for this season’s kit – emblazoning all 36 players with their Energy High 5 campaign branding, to help spread their message to “waste less energy and start saving money”.

Phil Harding, ESFA Chairman said; “The English Schools’ Football Association is very pleased to have secured sponsorship from Utilita and to be able to formally announce them as a Principal Partner for the Association from January 2020. The International activity provided by the Association for young players in England really is the pinnacle of schools’ football activity and to be able to increase the value of what we can provide for them through this partnership, is a real asset to the Association. We are keen to help promote and to support their Energy High 5 campaign – as we believe this conveys an important message and one that we should all be sharing in to help stop wasted energy in England.”

Jem Maidment, Director of Marketing and Communications said; “Utilita is proud of its growing commitment to British football – from Premier League, to grassroots – so we are delighted to be supporting the ESFA and the future stars of English football.

“We also want to use our partnership with the ESFA to spread our message to encourage England’s young people to reduce their energy usage as part of our new #EnergyHigh5 campaign.”
