The English Schools’ FA (ESFA) concluded Schools’ Football Week 2024, by bringing together both the England U15 Schoolgirls and England U18 Schoolboys for their first international training camp, courtesy of ESFA partners, inspiresport.
All 36 players selected to represent the ESFA this season arrived at St George’s Park on Friday 9th February and were presented with their official England kit created by ESFA kit providers, Pro:Direct Sport and featuring, the Arnold Clark front of shirt logo for the first time.
The young England representatives got to spend quality time with their teammates throughout the weekend and also play their first friendly fixtures of the 23/24 season against their Independent Schools’ FA (ISFA) counterparts. The England U15 Schoolgirls won 4-1 in their opening fixture, with the England U18 Schoolboys losing 3-1 against their ISFA opponents. Match reports from both fixtures will be available on the English Schools’ FA website and social media channels over the coming days.

In the next stage of the 23/24 international programme, the England U15 Schoolgirls travel to The New Saints stadium in Oswestry on Sunday 10th March to play a friendly against their Welsh Counterparts. They then travel to Athlone in the Republic of Ireland to take part in the Bob Docherty tournament against the other home nations from 24th – 28th March.
The England U18 Schoolboys travel to Northern Ireland for their opening SAFIB Centenary Shield fixture of the season on Friday 23rd January. They are then on the road again as they take on Wales on Thursday 28th March before returning to home turf to play the Republic of Ireland at Walsall FC on Friday 5th April and then Scotland on Friday 12th April at Chesterfield FC.
