Women's World Cup 2019

FIFA Women’s World Cup – France 2019

The 2019 FIFA Women’s World Cup is here and we’re getting behind England as the Lionesses kick of their world cup campaign on Sunday the 9th of June against a familiar opponent in the Scotland women’s football team.

From on-field to pitch-side, the England team is a strong outfit, putting the Lionesses in a good position to bring football and the Cup home. It’s fantastic to see so many ESFA alumni in and amongst the star filled squad such as ESFA England Schoolgirl international, Georgia Stanway, ESFA U18 Schools’ Cup for Girls national finalist Fran Kirby, ESFA Schoolboy International and Lioness Manager Phil Neville!

Best of luck to the Lionesses on their France 2019 World Cup journey!

Maybe we’ll see some of these faces in future  World Cups and  Lioness squads!
