The ESFA is delighted to announce the successful trialists from the second stage of the England U18 Schoolboys’ trial process. These boys will now progress to the final trial on December 11th representing the North of England for a chance to be selected for their country as part of the final squad.


The ESFA concluded the second stage of the U18 Schoolboys’ Pro:Direct trials on Sunday 27th November at Cochrane Park in Newcastle. The event saw the North and Midlands regional squads selected in phase one of the process compete against each other for a spot at the final trials in December.

The successful trialists below will travel to Lilleshall National Sports Centre on Sunday 11th December for the final trial. The North squad will compete against their southern counterparts for one of the eighteen spots available in the final England U18 Schoolboys’ squad and the opportunity to represent their country for the 2022/23 international season.
