The ESFA would like to formally congratulate Maya Le Tissier and Katie Robinson for their debut call ups to the senior lionesses squad. Both were part of the England U15 Schoolgirls’ squad who lifted the Bob Docherty Cup in 2016
Maya, who represented Guernsey Schools’ FA, captained the England U15 Schoolgirls’ in 2015/16 whilst Katie, who represented Cornwall Schools’ FA, was the focal point in attack throughout the campaign. The 2015/16 England U15 Schoolgirls’ were the last squad to lift the Bob Docherty Cup, which was played at Dragon’s Park in Newport, Wales. The girls beat both Wales and Scotland in the group stages, where Katie scored against Wales, before beating the Republic of Ireland in the Final.
