ENGLISH SCHOOLS’ FA AND CATAPULT SPORTS
The English Schools’ FA is delighted to be bringing their brand new partnership with Catapult Sports, the global leader in elite sports performance technology, to the 2019/20 Schools’ Football Season.
The partnership has already seen Catapult’s PlayerTek Team technology used by the ESFA’s two England Squads, optimising their training and development through performance tracking. ESFA affiliated schools and Associations will now also benefit from a discounted rate on Catapult’s award winning PlayerTek devices, as well as having the opportunity to try out Catapult’s new technology, PLAYR, with in-built sports science advice.
PlayerTek is the pioneering sports-performance tracking system that helps team managers make informed decisions by using technology that has previously only been available to the elite. Team managers can use PlayerTek to scientifically monitor player performances across training sessions and matches; tracking 10 main metrics, including speed, distance, power plays and player load. Using the information gathered to measure the physical performance of players, coaches can strategically plan how to push players to greater game performance, and reduce the risk of injury.
