The England Schoolgirls and Schoolboys take to the skies and bring the footballing heat to Eindhoven and Milan with inspiresport
In partnership with inspiresport both the England U15 Schoolgirls and England U18 Schoolboys have this week jetted off on their overseas tours in Holland and Italy.
The England Schoolgirls are spending their half term in Holland for their bespoke tour. Monday saw them arrive in Eindhoven and travel straight to Beukenlaan to play RKVV JEKA U15s. You can read the match report here.
Tuesday will see the players take to training pitches for some post-game training sessions. Wednesday morning is opportunity to explore Philips Stadium (The PSV Eindhoven Stadium) and the city of Eindhoven also known as the ‘City of Light’. After the morning’s proceedings the England Schoolgirls will return to the training pitches in preparation of their evening Match against the FC Eindhoven U15s.
Thursday sees the girls taking the time to get familiar with PSV Eindhoven’s training facilities and see the PSV first team put through the paces and on the final day the girls have the morning to enjoy the remainder of the city before flying back home.
The England Schoolboys‘ tour takes place in Italy and specifically Milan, home to footballing icons Inter and AC Milan. The first item on the itinerary saw the boys head to legendary stadium Inter Milan San Siro for a tour followed up by watching a league game between Inter Milan and Sampdoria. On day two, like the girls, the boys hit the training ground before taking to the streets and exploring the city of Milan.
Day three sees the first game of the Schoolboys‘ tour where they’ll travel to Renate to meet AC Renate U18 in friendly fixture. The following morning the boys will have a pre-match training session before the tour finale of huge friendly game versus the Inter Milan Academy U18s and returning home.
A special thanks to inspiresport for supporting both the England squads and providing such a fantastic opportunity for all involved.
