National Schools’ Football Week is Back!
Schools from all over the country have been invited to support this season’s National Schools’ Football Week, taking place from 4th to 8th February 2019. The campaign, staged in conjunction with the English Schools’ FA PlayStation Schools’ Cup, will invite schools to host football-themed events and lessons throughout the week, using the popularity of football to inspire pupils both on and off the pitch.
Over 2,000 schools and 200,000 players are taking part in this season’s PlayStation Schools’ Cup. Marking a celebration of schools’ football, National Schools’ Football Week reflects the spirit of competition, fair play and teamwork, while introducing a ‘Respect in Football’ element of the campaign.
A guide has been produced that provides a host of fun and simple ideas suggesting how your school can support National Schools’ Football Week. Whether it’s staging a special football match, a penalty competition or simply sending a social media post during the week of the campaign, the support from each school is massively appreciated, as we aim to utilise the popularity of football to inspire pupils both on and off the pitch. The Guide is available via the PDF below:
