ESFA Panini Classroom Challenge – Regional Winners Announced

The ESFA and Panini’s partnership was first announced in February 2018 alongside with the reveal of the brand new ESFA Panini Classroom challenge.

The Classroom Challenge, invited both primary and secondary schools from across England to enter a variety of curriculum-based competitions that provided teachers with valuable learning resources, showing how effectively football can be used as an educational tool – particularly with the help of some fantastic Panini facts and figures.

By using the 2018 FIFA World Cup Russiaâ„¢ as inspiration, the Classroom Challenge allowed the ESFA and Panini to create competitions as well as some fantastic supporting classroom resources to help teachers to plan lessons and encourage students to get involved over the 2018 Summer term.

The world of football is about so much more than just a game and lends itself perfectly to Art & Design, Music, English, History and Geography, all of which Panini had taken into account when creating these competitions and designing resources to accompany them.

After receiving some wonderful entries from across England, the submissions were whittled down to Regional Winners from the North, the Midlands, the South East and South West for each competition and from the Regional winners   National winners were chosen which you can see below!

The winners were visited by two of the Panini UK team who gave a school assembly during their visits, as well as presenting the winners with their prizes! On their visit to Lancashire, lucky winner Levi was also joined by Blackburn Rovers players, Adam Armstrong and Ben Brereton!
